Impact of COVID-19 on people livelihoods, their health and our food systems

In the contemporary era, Covid-19 has played a devastating role in the worldwide. This lead to the disruption of the system and service because of excessive increase in the “death rate.”

The population of the globe is infected directly and indirectly attribute to the overall world-wide crisis. This caused various challenges to the food system,public health ,world of work and education system etc.

However, this pandemic reported about the inadequate as well as under resourced health information system. The major cause was due to the inappropriate functioning of health sector lacking in the funds and essential resources to provide proper healthcare and immunisation to the Covid +ve patients.

The social and economic disruption caused various impact on the income along with the other problems like isolation was one of the significant reasons for effecting  the of mental ,physical and well-being of an individual.

Quarantine made a drastic change in the way people live because people have to stick to one place for long time to avoid any deadly conditions for them as well as the loved ones. Everyone was stuck which effect in earning of bread and butter for their family.This leads people to fall into the extreme poverty for under nourished ones. The world economy, travel,events,food supply, food chain,employment and education has started to manifest .
